Vitrine II: ‚Little Happiness in Tokyo' - Taketo Shimada
- I took these photos in Tokyo between 2017-2018. What are in the plastic bags I wondered. In the afternoon sunlight and crisp shopping bags in their hands they are all content. Purple socks with bananas and chives were the first and the balding guy the last. Somewhere someone's saved all the shopping bags since the seventies, and they are my heroes. Potatoes, carrots, onions and pork in a shopping bag, they are cooking Japanese curry rice tonight!
